  2. Hi, I am Charlottes mum Ang. My global connection is London. I went there on an overseas trip 17 years ago and stayed with my godfather who lives in the well known district Covent Garden. A fact about London is The Royal Family live in London in Buckingham Palace which I visited. London is also known as the Business Capital of the world! Its a fun place to visit with many well known tourist attractions such as "Big Ben" - which is a monumental clock, "Madame Tussards" - the wax museum show casing many famous people, and also has many beautiful historic buildings and art galleries. I hope you will visit London one day if you have not already!!!!!

  4. Hi, I'm Karen, Amelia's Mum.
My global connection is Raoul Island in the Kermadec group, north of New Zealand. I spent a year living on the island with only 3 other people. We were running the weather station up there.

  5. Hi, my name is Emily and I am half Croatian because my father was born there and he came to New Zealand and met my mum and then they had me and my brother Hugo! We normally go to Croatia every year but didn't go last year and we did go this year. My father was born in a city called Split but when we go to Croatia we stay at a place called Podgora. It is very hot there in the summer and we spend a lot of time swimming to cool down.
