Hello there Flat George, this is Year 6 at Farnborough Primary School in Kent near London. We are a class of 32 local children. Our teacher Miss D has globalisation connections with Italy because her grandparents are Italian. She also has aunts and uncles who live in America and Venezuela. Miss D also speaks Italian, French and German. Her sister lives in Mexico. Miss D has lived in England, Wales and Scotland. She also taught in France.
Okim is from the Phillipines.
Tom's nan lives in Wales and Peter's grandad is Welsh. Alex's grandad is also Welsh.
Josh's granny lives in Spain.
Niamh's nan is Irish and her cousins live in Ireland. Ethan's family are Irish and his uncle married an Indian lady. Harvey's nan is Irish and his grandad lived in Croatia. Elizabeth's grandma is from Ireland too and she has cousins who live in Scotland. Her distant uncle was a King of Ireland.
Lewis' grandad is from Scotland.
Holly's aunt, uncle and cousins live in Australia. Peter will be visiting Australia for Christmas and New Year.
Charlie's dad is from India and his cousins live there. Namrata is from India and is visiting her family there at the moment.
Jordan has a distant relative who used to be the President of Ghana and her mum is from Ghana. Her step-dad is Italian and English.
Maya's family come from Spain and Maya is fluent in Spanish and English.
Benedict's grandparents come from Poland andhis dad speaks Polish. Benedict knows a little Polish.
Joe has someone in his family who is a little bit Red Indian and someone else has a little bit of Italian in them too.
Lewis knows some Japanese martial arts moves.
We all learn French in school and we also learn some other languages every so often.
It has been a pleasure to meet Flat George and we will send him off on his travels again soon.
